STROBOSCOPE is a simulation programming language based on the activity scanning simulation paradigm and activity cycle diagrams. Although designed specifically for the modeling of construction operations, STROBOSCOPE can be used to model operations in any domain. STROBOSCOPE allows you to model very complex operations with ease.
You can download everything you need to create and run simulation models on computers running Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or later from this site. If you own Microsoft Visio 2000 or later you will also be able to run the Stroboscope Graphical User Interface, EZStrobe, and ProbSched. STROBOSCOPE is free so long as you use it to teach simulation in a university or for un-funded research.
Versions of Stroboscope designed for easy installation and ghosting in academic computer labs, and for professional use are also available. To obtain a copy of the Educational Lab version or the Professional version, please contact Julio C. Martinez.
